A Look Into Moon Transits - May 30th, 2020
An interesting fact about the Moon in Human Design is that it's a DRIVING FORCE! In the Body Graph, you have a Design Moon and a Personality Moon. So the Design Moon would be your subconscious driving force and the Personality Moon would be your conscious driving force. But we are here to talk about the Moon in Transit! What I'm about to say can be applied not just to Human Design, but Astrology too!
Wherever the Moon in Transit lands, that will be an indicator of what is driving you in that moment. The Moon rules emotions and how we process them, so this "driving force" will usually be an emotionally related one. However, the Moon is not JUST a Driving Force. It is also represents "FOCUS". Wherever the Moon lands is where there is an FOCUS (usually emotionally related). Let's use today's Moon Transits (in Human Design) as an example!
In Human Design, the Moon is currently in Gate 64 (which is in Virgo in Tropical Astrology). It has been here since 3:13 AM (Eastern Time) and will end at 12:46 PM when the Moon enters Gate 47. Gate 64 is known as the Gate of Confusion. It comes with an "Abstract pressure to make sense of the past, and to resolve the chaos and confusion." It resides in the Head Center, so this "pressure" is a mental one. It can come out as plain mental pressure or it can come out as anxiety, inspiration, and/or doubt. The point is that it naturally comes with confusion! Now how do we use this to interpret what it means for us individually? It's simple! This is where we bridge in Astrology!
So interestingly enough, the Moon is currently residing in my 6th House (using Placidus). That means there is a FOCUS on the 6th House area of my life for as long as the Moon is within it. Now what's the 6th House all about? It's the House of Health! It rules our habits/routines, our health, and our responsibilities. Not only is this the current focus of my life, it is also a current DRIVING FORCE in my life. If we pair up how the Moon is also in the Gate of Confusion, that would indicate there's a lot of confusion right now in terms of my everyday life and/or my habits/routines. It can also indicate confusion in my personal health and/or responsibilities as well. Which is ALL TRUE! I have actually been dealing with a lot of mental pressure in this area of my life.
This "pressure" is what is currently driving me. It's the main focus of my mind. I am focused on resolving this pressure/confusion I am currently feeling. But this starts to change when 12:46 PM rolls around and the Moon enters Gate 47! This is called the Gate of Realization. The irony here is that it is the "other half" to Gate 64. Together, they form a Channel called the Channel of Abstraction. Gate 64 brings pressure and confusion, and Gate 47 resolves that pressure/confusion. The Gate of Realization makes sense of the confusion experienced. It also has this mental anxiety that life is oppressive and futile, that you may not be able to make sense of the confusion/problems present. That's why it tries its best to resolve it and think it through!
So it's funny, we are brought pressure and confusion with Gate 64, and then right after we get Gate 47 which tries to resolve the pressure and confusion experienced. This is going on from 12:46 PM to 10:16 PM. The theme of the day is therefore MENTAL PRESSURE AND CONFUSION! This entire day will be about it and resolving it. For me, it's all within the 6th House area of my life! The Transit Moon is also getting closer to being in conjunction with my Chiron. It's also making aspects to my Nodes and my Venus. All of these point to where the current "focus" is in my life and how it'll manifest. What's driving me today and what I'm focusing on today is my HEALTH, my RESPONSIBILITIES, and more importantly my HABITS that I need to work on to make me more secure in life.
